Live Green, Live Smart is a Minneapolis based company pushin’ green to the extreme… They keep their hands quite full by juggling the promotion of green building on a national level, offering educational services, and creating epic case study eco-remodels, like their Sustainable House, which happens to be the planet’s first ever LEED Platinum remodel!  Yeah woo!

This Sustainable House project has got it ALL goin’ on! From geothermal heating/cooling, photovoltaic (PV) panels and solar thermal, to a greywater recovery system, radiant in-floor heating, richlite  surfaces, dual flush toilets, FSC certified woods… don’t even get me started!

Live Green, Live Smart looked across several states to find the perfect home to remodel… They discovered a great property in Minnetonka Minnesota, an upscale community west of Minneapolis.  With this home in desperate need of some TLC, Live Green took it upon themselves to disprove the notion that only new construction can have all the good green fun.
