Alright, this ride knocks my socks off and I’m dreaming of the day I will tame this electric beast.
It is the Tesla Roadster and is 100 percent electric powered, with a range of over 200 miles per charge. It is estimated that it will be equivalent to driving 135 miles per gallon. All this with performance surpassing that of a porsche 911! That’s right, 0-60 acceleration in about 4 seconds… And not bad on styling either, eh? I’m sold.
Being a fueless rig allows the Tesla to be free of motor oil, belts, spark plugs, filters, etc. Maintanance doesn’t sound so bad.
So how much will this speedster set you back? Base price of $92,000… Not as bad as I thought it’d be. Actually about the same price as that Porsche it left at the stop light.
