The Magenn Power Air Rotor System (MARS) is currently being developed as a 10 kW system available to the public in 2008.  It can be connected directly to a power source, be stored in batteries for later use, or tied to the power grid.

They run around $10,000 and are being marketed to off-grid individuals and developing nations where infrastructure is limited or non existent…. I wonder if there’s also a market for rv salesmen along interstate freeways?
