A great resource for communities looking to ‘get their green on’ has been recently released.  It is the Playbook for Green, developed by Holland Barrs Planning Group. The Playbook, a web-based resource, provides strategies, tips, and tools that cities and counties can use to take immediate action on climate change.  It is designed both for communities that are considering making the first steps toward these, as well as for those who want to take existing efforts to a new level.

The site focuses its efforts on buildings, neighborhoods, and infrastructure and addresses each issue independantly through education, planning, and action… This looks to be the go-to-guide for metro-hippies involved in city planning and government positions.
